President Joko Widodo dinilai memahami jikalau BBM adalah komoditas
strategis dan pemerintah dinilai menyadari jika kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi
memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap komodits lain. Kenaikan BBM juga diikuti
naiknya ongkos angkot, sewa kos, dll.
BBM naik rakyat kecil sengsara. Itu sudah
rumus baku. Itu sudah hukum alam. Tidak ada yang bisa dibantah.
Dan selanjutnya kalau BBM naik yang
jelas untung adalah:
1. Pemerintah
Karena akan mendapatkan dana tambahan untuk pembangunan
2. Pertamina
Karena akan meningkatkan daya saing dengan perusahaan lain.
3. Ketersediaan BBM
untuk seluruh rakyat
Karena tidak akan ada lagi penimbunan dan penyelundupan BBM
4. Kurs US Dollar
menurun
Karena berdampak pada turunnya harga-harga produk impor
5. Rakyat menjadi lebih
survive dan tidak manja
